Booking, payment, cancellation and credit rules
These are the lesson price, travel, payment, cancellation, reschedule, and credit rules the booking system is using now. When those settings change, this page changes with them. Creating an account includes confirming that you have read these policies and agree to them.
Lesson price
A lesson is 60 minutes and costs $80.00.
A lesson on an open public holiday adds $8.00.
Booking windows
New bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Lessons are weekly. A new booking continues the week after the latest lesson in that series. A closed holiday week can be skipped. A student cannot leave a gap and keep the later weeks.
Payments
Portal bookings start as pending payment and are confirmed after the studio records the payment.
Payment is due within 24 hours of booking. A reminder is sent after 18 hours if the booking is still awaiting confirmation. After the deadline the time is free again unless Mark is holding it.
If payment is still not confirmed when that due time passes, the booking is cancelled. A reminder can be ignored when the payment has already been sent and the studio has not confirmed it yet.
Payment is required within 24 hours of making your booking otherwise the booking is released and available again. If paying by direct deposit, you must write the word sustenance followed by your booking batch code as the payment reference in the description field. For example: sustenance MML-621199DD Please direct deposit your payment into: Account name: Virelo Meridian Trust and Virelo Meridian Pty Ltd BSB: 063-519 Acc: 1033 1049 Cash payments are welcome if you know you can pay in person within 24 hours of booking. If you have already paid, please ignore reminder emails while confirmation is pending.
Home-call travel
Travel is quoted before booking, starting from Rivergum Support Building (Hire Room), 87A Napier Street, Maryborough VIC 3465.
The quote uses the round trip: $1.10 per kilometre and $0.55 per minute, plus a $10.00 base fee.
A home-call is not available when the one-way drive is longer than 60 km or 60 minutes.
Cancellations
Cancelling a lesson also cancels every later lesson in that weekly series. No credit is issued. To change the day in the same week, reschedule instead.
A cancellation needs at least 24 hours notice. Inside that window, report an absence. The lesson stays booked, and no credit is issued.
Rescheduling
Reschedules need at least 48 hours notice.
Students may reschedule up to 1 lesson in each calendar month. A lesson in a later month keeps its own allowance.
The replacement lesson must be another available slot in the same calendar week. If no same-week slot exists, the reschedule is not available.
Account credit
Pay within 24 hours of requesting account credit. The studio adds the credit after payment is confirmed. It is not refundable. Cash is welcome if you can pay in person within 24 hours. The payment description must start with the lowercase word sustenance, then the student's name. The studio adds the credit after the payment is confirmed. Account credit is not refundable and expires after 90 days.
Makeup credit is added by the studio when a makeup is agreed. It uses the same expiry.
Personal information
The studio keeps the details needed to run lessons: your name, email, phone, home-call address, and the names of people you book for. Lesson times, payments, credit, and messages stay with the studio so the records can be checked later.
Closing an account stops sign-in and new bookings. The lesson and payment history stays on that account. The email stays reserved unless Mark releases it for a new signup. Ask Mark if you want a copy of what is held, or if a detail needs correcting.
